The strawberry Gang!

Was watching this show, 'Let's Talk 你在囧什么?' and they are introducing what is called the '草莓族'.

Description: 现今的“草莓族”，多用来形容1981年后出生的年轻人像草莓一样，尽管表面上看起来光鲜亮丽， 但却承受不了挫折，一碰即烂，不善于团队合作，主动性及积极性均较上一代差。开始投入职场的“草莓族”，最大的特色之一，就是工作时往往没什么定性，只要有更好玩的工作，或是较高的薪水，就会见异思迁。

Well, are you one of them? Sometimes, I feel that I'm one of them. Unable to accept setbacks, and unable to contain stress, and yups, a higher paying job definitely will win me over!
And while watching this show, I realised that I'm more and more less stress resistant, and that a little bit of stress could send me into a very bad mood. Not sure why I've become like that, but it seems that my tolerance level has been getting lower and lower.. =(

And oh, I had a random thought today.
That is, I wish to be a counsellor in the future. A teenage counsel. Hmm, well, I guess if I really want to be one, I should have more patience then!

And yes, today is Boxing day! Ever wondered how this name is originated from??

What is Boxing Day?

Boxing Day is a day the higher classes gave gifts to the lower classes. Before or on December 25th people of similar class would exchange gifts to celebrate the Christmas season. Gifts were not exchanged with the lower class until the next day called Boxing Day. It is also known as St. Stephen’s Day.

Why is the holiday named Boxing Day?

The holiday is named Boxing Day because the tradition of giving gifts of cash, food, clothing and other goods to the less fortunate were placed into boxes for easier transportation. The goods were distributed based on the family needs and their services to the giver.

THE COOKING WEEK!

Well, Weilin rarely cooks. And this week, probably because Daddy is out, the cooking craze starts! All those unhealthy stuff started to appear for dinner! =)

Case Closed

Yup a continuation to the previous previous post...I admit, after I made that post, I was super angry the next day, and that explains the frustrations on my tagboard..

Anyway, I was so mad because the same particular person, whom I also recommend a job to, was very irresponsible. He wanted to not report for work and wants to go clubbing instead.. What a reason right? On that particular day, he told me that he wasn't feeling well and doesn't feel like working.. Hmm, I'm still in doubt until today actually, but I have decided not to pursue anymore..

So after knowing that he intended not to work because of his illness (headache), I was really fuming and therefore sent him a couple of msg, which eventually made him decide to go for work..

And yeps, I'm still quite delighted that I still have this friend who still has a sense of responsibility. If he didn't turn up for work, I'm pretty sure I'll be having 1 less friend. =)
