WEEEEEEEE!!! BACK! AND WITH A COMPLAINT!
Well.. basically just writing to fa xie so that I can don't keep harping on it.
And yup.. I've been spending majority of my life working, working and working, coz my outlet is rather shorthanded. Well.. tradegy happened ytd (thur), my manager had some family issue to attend to, while my outlet faced a full house! Normally, if we got 5 pple for a full house, we already have difficulties. Well, ytd was 4.. so guess what! Everyone is running around trying to get this and that for customers and handling their complaints due to the long waiting time!
Haiz, it was a disaster for everyone and I was managing the bar and quickie counter.. Well, many crowded behind me.. but I decided to ignore them! Haha! And I got a long list of drinks orders and no1 was picking up my drinks aft I have done them! And the worse is.. I got insufficient cups =(
I was practically sweating and mumbling, 'Shah, where are you???', and when my cleaner brought the cups to me, i was telling him.. 'Ah Bin, Wo hen pa...'.. Well, for the whole 1 1/2 hour (roughly), I was at a high level of stress with customers asking me,
Customer: 'We have been waiting for xxx min, can you check our orders?'
*went to check order and realised they haven't even reach to that order*
*panicked*
Me: Oh we still need around 10-15 min for your order
Customer: This is ridiculous coz we were told to wait for 10 min for our pastas. We changed from a sandwich order coz we were informed that we need to wait for around 20 min.
Me: ehhh..
Customer: I want a refund.
and with my area manager asking me, Table xx de shui out le mei you?
Hmm.. well.. after the lunch crowd, there was practically NO CROWD AT ALL. The outlet was left with 0 customers.. Why ar? Why people like to give us heart attacks leh? Come together, go together.. haiz..
Anyway.. aft the whole thing.. my manager was telling me her experience with a group of customers just now and advised us on a few things.. and I accidentally brought up the issue on the customer wanting a refund.. then my colleague was unhappy coz she got reprimanded (not so strong la, just that I couldn't find a word to replace) by my manager, then she gave me a sarcastic 'thanks'.. =(
And yup, coz we were short staffed, for closing, we were down to 3 people. And I closed bar, quickie and half of the floor even when I had a headache, and my colleague didn't even help to close floor lor! I mean.. please help la.. haiz.. was pretty fed up with her ytd.. and it added on to my headache.. but well.. it's all over now..
But then.. this noon, she was initially doing bar.. but then when Shermagne went in and made a drink, she asked Sher to close the bar instead, which I find it ridiculous. Haiz, dunno why she become like that.. And during closing she asked Sher to do things which she herself was supposed to do.. haiz.. disappointed..
But well.. okay.. I'm done with ranting.. Tmr will be a better day with no grudges!
Let your smile change the world, and not let the world change your smile.
How true and I like this sentence..

Parents!
Haha! Okay..I'm back again!
Anyway.. I find parents nowadays interesting! Haha! Prob bcoz I'm working in UE2 Bakerzin, I come across quite a number of parents with their kids!
Anyway.. Ytd.. There's this father who came to our outlet, very serious, and asked who's the server of the day. And I told him that I'm one of the servers and he replied seriously and sternly, 'Come, I got something to tell you' . His intention was to teach his son a lesson on 'listening to instructions'. So, he told me to swap his and his son's order and not give what his son wants. Well, I doubt you would teach your kid like that right? But that's not the main point. Coz I was asked to serve them badly and mix up their orders. Then during billing, he asked his kid.. 'Do you think that Daddy should pay for the food? Do you think that the zeh zeh, after mixing up our orders, we should still pay for the food?' << Wah.. I don't know what his dad was trying to teach him leh.. If someone screws up your order, you don't need to pay?
Then followed by: Then if you don't listen to your teacher during your violin lesson, should Daddy still pay for the teacher? *me: puzzled* Eh.. is your son don't want to listen to teacher.. Why you tell him that you shouldn't pay the teacher??
But then his main point was to teach his son that he should be obedient and listen to his violin teacher's instructions.. But I just can't link both the incidents up..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And today!
There's a mum who brought her 2 daughters to Bakerzin. Then the younger one was throwing tantrum and was crying away. So her mum told me to approach her daughter and say, ' Keep Quiet! If you don't keep quiet, I bring you to the kitchen!' Haha! that girl was too cute and I bu ren xin say that.. LOL!
But the mum was very friendly la! =D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, work was very heavy this morning. We got many cake orders, delivery orders to prepare, and some dine-in customers to serve. And there's training for Bakerzin staff today, so work has been pretty stressed with all the big heads around! But Tammy and I managed to survive, just that we felt like fainting after that...
Hmm, working hours have been rather long lately. 9 hours ytd, full shift today and tmr starts at 9am!
Well, 90 kids to handle! And 20 pax reservation indoors tmr! Hmm.. GOODLUCK! =D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh! And I was told that, in future, ALL calls to UE will be diverted to HQ! Which means, we can all concentrate on our service without the irritating phone ringing constantly away!!! YIIPPPPEEE!!!

Alright! I think I'm somehow getting older I guess? I've been thinking of the past!
1st.. I dreamt that I was back in Taiwan and I was back to performing there, with some familiar faces! Oh well.. And we were sitting along the road waiting for our bus with all our da bao xiao bao!
Anyway! I'm missing techno and mensa food alr! =(

Goodbye President, Hi Alumnus
Well, I have officially stepped down as a TPCO main committee, President!
1 year, felt suffocating at times, felt helpless occasionally, and often in a dilemma.
But well, it has been filled with laughter too, accompanied with stress and sometimes sadness.
A year ago, I started off with tears.
The uncertainty during the 1st event, the fear, and the mistake made me learn to be independent.
2 months later, plagued with projects, made me regret not spending enough time with the new bloods in CO.
Another 4 months down the road, committed to my internship while juggling with CO matters. Tough time, but made it through, and gaining new friends
2 months ago, CO concert, bonded with many CO people. Though time consuming, but the people made it worthwhile.
Last month, Taiwan Exchange trip. Many mixed feelings. Responsibilities, duty as a friend, duty as a leader, made the trip different.
President of TPCO, AY 09/10, tough but fulfilling and meaningful. Gained friends and most importantly laughter. And thanks everyone for making this possible, and turning it into a road with no regrets.
A year later, I ended off with a smile. It's sunshine after a rain, because of you guys.
For that, I end off my humble journey in TP, TPCO.
